Blocker

Work is missing validation by customers.

Solution

Understand who the customer is and what they want.

“Understand who the customer is and what they want.”

Might sound like an obvious thing, but you’d be surprised how many teams never talk to a single customer or end-user.

And that’s exactly what Agile is all about: Idea → Build → Feedback (from customers) → Rework.

That feedback loop is agility.

If your team simply does this — and forgets everything else — you have an Agile team.

Here’s how we supercharge this process:

Customer Persona Framework: Guess – Validate – Loop

(Full guide linked below)

We break it down into four key areas:

  • Persona — Who is this customer?

  • Pain — What slows them down or frustrates them?

(This then becomes a validated backlog)

  • KPIs — How do they measure success?

  • Loop — How do we keep learning from them?

This Is How We Do It

3 steps to building a real connection with customers.

Step 1 — Guess the Persona

Get the team aligned by forming a shared hypothesis about your customer and their needs.

Work in small groups to fill in the sheets above: Persona, Pain Points & Challenges, and How We Collect & Measure Customer Insights.

Step 2 — Validate the Guess

Talk to 3–5 real customers to test your assumptions.

Refine your persona and pain points based on what you learn.

Step 3 — Keep the Feedback Loop Going

Set a regular feedback cadence so you stay in sync with your customers — and never drift away from what they truly need.

We can set this up for you.
